Review: Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque

Buon giorno ragazze !!
Oggi voglio parlarvi della famosissima Mint Julep Masque e dello scrub ! La maschera l'ho comprata su Amazon e per pochi spiccioli ti mandavano anche lo scrub, così ho preso entrambi.
Ne avevo sentito parlare moooolto, forse anche troppo. Molte ragazze americane la osannavano nelle loro review e io non ho resistito!

Today I wanna talk about the super famous Mint Julep Masque and the scrub ! I bought the mask on Amazon and for pennies you could have also the scrub so I bought both.
I've heard a LOT about this mask. Lots of american girls acclaimed it in their reviews so I couldn't resist!

La maschera.

Lo scrub.

Ho provato i prodotti per circa un mese per capire la loro validità. Ogni venerdì dedico una mezzora a questi due prodotti: prima faccio lo scrub e poi per un quarto d'ora tengo su la maschera.
Lo scrub ha un buon profumo di menta. Funziona? Sinceramente fa il lavoro di un normalissimo scrub..niente di più e niente di meno. Infatti appena lo finisco farò io il mio scrub con zucchero e olio ! La maschera invece è stata un grande enigma per me. Sulla confezione dice che toglie i punti neri, chiude i pori e asciuga i brufoli... un miracolo in pratica ! eheheh
Dunque, io ogni tanto mi copro di brufoli, soprattutto prima e durante il ciclo e la maschera me li asciuga... ok ,rimangono li per un po' ma d'altronde non posso pretendere troppo, no!?
I pori si chiudono notevolmente ma solo per le ore successive perché ben presto... puff ! eccoli riaperti ! Per quanto riguarda i punti neri.... zero! Forse i miei sono bastardi o non so, ma da li non se ne vanno... La maschera però pulisce anche la pelle, quindi anche chi ha poche imperfezioni può utilizzarla e devo dire che lascia una pelle morbida e puoi davvero sentirla pulita !

I tried the products for like a month to understand if they were worth it. Every Friday I dedicate 1 hour to these two products: I do the scrub before and then I keep the mask on for about 15 minutes.
The scrub smells minty fresh. Does it work? Honestly it's like a normal scrub... nothing more or less that's why I'll do my own scrub at home with oil and sugar when I finish it. The mask has been a very big dilemma for me. On the package it says that it shrinkes away enlarged pores, rinses away blackheads and dries up acne pimples....basically a miracle ! eheheh
So, sometimes my face is all covered by pimples especially before and during my curse and the mask dries them up....ok, they keep on staying on my face but I mean, I can't ask for miracles, right?!
Pores shrink a lot but only for the following hours because soon... puff! Here they are ! Talking about blackheads.... nothing! I can't see the difference. Maybe I have bastards blackheads but they don't leave me! However the mask cleans the skin, so even if you don't have any  imperfection on your skin you can use it cause I must say that it Leaves you a soft and clean skin!

Buongiorno ragazze ! Stavo pensando che voi non mi conoscete ancora, lo farete a poco a poco con i miei post. Tuttavia volevo parlarvi subito di due mie piccole passioni (manie?! fissazioni?!), ovvero...... i piercing e i tattoo! Molte di voi penseranno "che schifo", "bleah". Beh...io li amo su di me ma anche sugli altri, li adoro!! Ok, ora voglio mostrarvi tutti i miei piercing e tattoos (beh, in realtà ne ho solo uno... per ora! eheheh).

Hi girls ! I was thinking that you don't know me yet but you will little by little with my posts.
However I wanted to talk about two of my  little passions (mania?! obsession?!), that is.... piercings and tattoos! Lots of you will think  "How disgusting!". Well...I love them on me but also on other people, I'm in love with them !! Ok, now I wanna show you all my piercings and tattoos (well, actually I have only one...for now! eheh).

Sin da quando ero bambina ho sempre voluto il piercing alla lingua. Perché?! Non lo so! Ma l'ho sempre adorato... Potete immaginare la disperazione di mia madre che non sapeva cosa fare di questa figlia squilibrata ahah ! Dopo ripetuti NO NO NO dei miei genitori, ho fatto 18 anni (16 febbraio 2012) e il 19 febbraio ho fatto il piercing. Lo amo, è il mio bambino eheheh ! Guardate ! ;)

Since I was a child I've Always wanted to have the tongue piercing. Why?! I don't know! But I have always loved it... You can image the desperation of my mum who didn't know what to do with this insane daughter ahah ! After repeated NO NO NO of my parents, I turned 18 ( February 16th 2012) and on the 19th February I had my piercing done. I love it, it's my baby eheheh! Check it out ! ;)

Devo aver pensato che avere una lingua bucata non era abbastanza per me così un mese dopo ho deciso di fare il piercing sopra il labbro, per gli amici Monroe (come il neo di Marilyin) . Cos'ho imparato? MAI farsi bucare la faccia, poi ti penti, non lo puoi togliere perché ti rimane un buco orrendo in faccia. In ogni caso, eccola qua:

I must have thought that having a pierced tongue wasn't enough so the following month I decided to have the piercing on the top of my lips , the one people call Monroe (like Marilyn's mole). What have I learned? NEVER have the face pierced cause then you regret and you cannot take it off cause you'll have an awful hole on the face. Anyway, here it is:

L'ultimo bambino-piercing che si è unito alla famiglia è stato il microdermal sul braccio. Non conosco bene questo tipo di piercing... posso solo dirmi che mi ha fatto un male pazzesco !! Ma com'è che si dice?!  "Chi bello vuole apparire, deve soffrire". Eccolo:

The last piercing which joined the family was the microdermal on the arm. I don't know this kind of piercings... I can only say that it hurt so bad !! But you know what they say... "Looking beautiful is hard work". Here it is:
